We paid extra for the double premium because, according to the website, the rooms were bigger than classic and they came with a seating area. Firstly there was a cot in our room, we did not book a cot so this gave a bad impression. This was removed as soon as I asked and the man was very nice, but this should not have happened. The room did not have enough shelves, there was nowhere to hang coats in the entrance hall. We had to leave our bags and clothes on the floor because there were no shelves in the wardrobe only a few hangars. The seating was really a huge disappointment. The photos show 4 seats, we had one small double chair which was under the TV with no table so we couldn't even use it for anything. I know the photos are examples but this really did feel like a con. The room was very ordinary, and I appreciate the rooms are not all the same but this room was totally different to the photographs online, we feel like we were ripped off. The room looked like it is used for classic and premium bookings as it was not clearly one style or the other. The noise from the room above was not great, luckily it stopped overnight. First we could hear a child bouncing a ball, thunk, thunk, thunk and then someone with a wheelie suitcase arrived and we could hear that moving round, things being dropped, chairs being moved. Finally, one lift was out of order and so we had to take the stairs all except twice because the single lift was so slow, the doors would close early so we couldn't get in etc. The noise from the lift repairs was a lot and nobody mentioned these works to us on check in. It really is not very good. The bathroom sink was tiny and the hooks for the towels were very low so you had to stoop down to use them.

The hotel is located close to the Central Train station and close to the Old City. While the entire area seems to be under re-construction, the hotel was peaceful and quiet. The staff was helpful, the room was good sized and the breakfast was great.

The hotel is old but well kept. It was Clean and tidy, with vintage decor. Though the chandelier and the wall lamp were quiet dusty. The receptionist were all friends and the location of the hotel is great. Close to the train station and a short walk to the center.

We stayed here when we visited Munich for the Christmas markets. The location of the hotel is excellent - right by the train station and only a 10 min walk from Marienplatz. The hotel has a very warm and cosy vibe. The rooms were clean and well appointed, though on the small side. Breakfast was excellent - a varied spread with the option for eggs and omelettes made to order. Breakfast staff were friendly and attentive. There is construction work around the hotel which is a little disruptive. I was surprised to hear noise from this at 7:30am. Some of the front desk staff were not particularly welcoming. We had actually stayed at this hotel in 2019 and loved it, which is why we returned. Back then it was an absolute 5 star experience but on this occasion we felt standards have slightly slipped since then, which is a shame. Overall it is a great hotel in a convenient location and we enjoyed our stay though.

The hotel was very nice. We had a big, clean and well appointed room. The breakfast was very good with many buffet choices and also hot plates from the kitchen. We appreciated the loaned umbrellas, as we forgot ours. Daylight flowed into the hotel via opaque glass but I did not see any attractive city views from the hotel. The location was practical but not in a pretty part of the city. I knew this going in. I selected it for its proximity to the train station and because it split the difference between Marienplatz and Theresienwiese for Oktoberfest. Marienplatz was a 10 minute walk. Theresienwiese was about a 15 minute walk. The location worked for our purposes.
